I need one. I did take one mental health day last week, but it just didn't last long enough.
Memorial Day was a fun adventure with two friends - we went to a small town outside the city and spent the afternoon shopping around the square. It was great, we all got a little something and one of my friends got some really cute stuff for her new house. So fun!
There is something about just getting out of town for a while and forgetting about all your worries.
Car trips with these particular friends always remind us of a particularly eventful one taken a couple of years ago. This is the reason I rarely drive. Pouring rain, unfriendly 18-wheelers, and the pitch blackness of Oklahoma highway made me never want to take another car trip again, and gained me the reputation of BAD driver. I let my friend take over for the rest of the trip into hilly, foggy Arkansas. We made it in one piece after SEVEN hours in the car in the middle of the night. Next time I'm taking a plane. :)

Here I am, commenting. I don't really have any comments to make, but that's not stopping me.
I agree that vacations are fun. Someday I will take a trip with my drawing friends and we will go somewhere and draw and dream about all the films we wish to make.
I will enjoy that. I'm glad you got to hang out with your friends, too. If any of said friends are reading this, feel free to come on over to my blog and see all my cool stuff.

Ah, the trip to Eureka Springs....one that will not be forgotten for a very long time. Instead of flying next time, how about just staying out of Arkansas forever? I think that's what I'm going to do....haha! :)
Ha ha!!! That driver was me!!!! Hey, no dogging on Arkansas. That particular trip was a nightmare, but whatever!!! Love you!!!!
