Last week I went on a business trip to San Diego. It was beautiful and almost worth the 3 hour hike to get the ocean pictures. I was under the impression that it was a short walk from the hotel to the beach. I was wrong. In case, like me, you are unfamiliar with California topography/geography, there are cliffs between you and the beach in San Diego. Big cliffs - who knew? Anyway, not being the outdoorsy type, I was seriously out of breath and about to have heat stroke. But I got to see the ocean and I have pictures to prove it.
We also went to the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and got to see some kind of jet up close. I think it was an FA18??? I was mainly looking at the hot marine soldier guys. There is just something about a man in uniform.
