Pink Purple Polka Dotted Christmas

To the tune of White Christmas:

I'm dreaming of a pink-purple-polka-dotted Christmas
Just like the ones I never knew
Where the tree tops break off
And children take off
To see tire tracks in the mud

slush slush slush

I'm dreaming of a pink-purple-polka-dotted Christmas
With every birthday card I write
May your days be gloomy and blue
And may all your Christmases be pink-purple-polka-dotted too!

Thanks to Momma and I think Uncle Ted for that one... :)

Is there a prize for that? Worst blogger ever? Hmmm...

At least I have never put a picture of One Tree Hill on mine. :)

I'm glad you still love me. :)

Thanks for having the words to Pink purple! I could only remember the 1st 2 lines from my late 50's, early 60's childhood. Great to see that it wasn't just a local song.

Wow! For years, that "Pink and Purple Polka-Dotted" thing has bounced around in my head at this time of year - in my own weirdness, I thought it was just something my bizarre imagination had made up - it only now occurred to me to Google it to see if it was real. Now, the question for me is - where, and when, in the WORLD did I first hear this, for it to have been stuck in my head for so long?
